Impound Vehicle Release Process
Customers will be asked to provide the following documents
Proof of Vehicle Ownership:
(a) Vehicle registration
or
(b) Signed Bill of Sale (document must be signed by the seller and buyer)
or
(c) Vehicle Title (signed by the seller and buyer)
or
(d) Dealer Sales Contract
Verification of Identity:
(a) Driver’s license
or
(b) State-issued identification card
Note! Police may have a hold on vehicle release with further stipulations
What if I’m unable to come in person to retrieve my vehicle from impound?
Call and request a “Release of Authorization Form“ if you are unable to come in person to pick up your vehicle and are sending someone else. It is your responsibility to have this filled out and notarized prior to the release.
